The scroll was broken through the peg hole and needs an external graft fitted and varnished in
Violin scroll has been relieved for a new graft to be fitted
The peg holes are filled and ready for the new graft
The new graft fitted
Being cleaned up for varnishing
The varnish colour matching has been started
The finished scroll with varnish done and antiqued to blend in with the condition of the rest of the instrument
