Greek Bouzouki Restoration
This instrument was found on a hard rubbish collection in Gippsland. The client was driving by and noticed the unusual case on the nature strip and decided to take a closer look. It turned out to be a hand made bouzouki that had a collapsed soundboard but was otherwise in great condition.
It turned out to be an instrument made by my my friend Arthur who makes beautiful and ornate instrument from his workshop nearby my house.
We have no idea of the backstory as to why it was on a rubbish tip but luckily it was rescued and able to be restored back to full working condition and is now being performed on again.
